What is the
Truth Project?
A recent study showed that only 9% of professing Christians have a
biblical world-view. We are losing our bearings as a people and a
nation. The Truth Project is a DVD-based small group curriculum
comprised of 12 video lessons. The study is a starting point for looking
at life from a biblical perspective, by addressing questions about
things like; Philosophy, Anthropology, Science, and History. We invite
you to be part of a cultural change by participating in this amazing
study.
Who can participate in the Truth Project?
Everyone! Calvary will be doing the Truth Project as an entire church
body. Each weekend, Pastor Ray will be teaching on that weeks’ lesson,
then during that week small groups will meet for discussion and a video
teaching by Dr. Del Tackett dealing with the same topic.
When does the Truth Project begin?
Pastor Ray will be speaking to us about the Truth Project beginning the
weekend of August 30th. We will officially begin our 13 weekend and
weekday lessons on October 5th. In the meantime stay plugged in by
attending weekend services, reading your bulletin, and logging onto this
site.
How can I begin to prepare for the Truth Project?
We are asking for everyone to pray in three specific ways:
1) That God
will bring transformation to every life as people seek the Truth.
2)
That God will place a desire within the heart of every person, within
our church and our community, to participate in a small group focused on
building strong relationships.
3) That God will develop within every
individual a strong biblical worldview.

Veritology: What is Truth?
Philosophy and Ethics: Says Who?
Anthropology: Who is Man?
Theology: Who is God?
Science: What is True? – 2 Sessions
History: Whose Story?
Sociology: The Divine Imprint
Unio Mystica: Am I alone?
The State: Whose Law?

Community and Involvement: God Cares do I?
How do I get into a group?
You can log onto our website and click on our “group finder” link to get
into a group in your area. If you would rather not use Group Finder, you
can go to the web and fill out a registration card to be in a group and
we will help place you in a group. You can also go to the Truth Project
kiosk and sign up there.
If I’m already in a group, can we do the Truth Project?
Yes, just have your leader sign up to attend a Leader Orientation either
on the web, or at the Truth Project Kiosk. Once your leader has entered
your group into Group Finder at orientation, you can all be added to
that Leader’s group.
How much does it cost?
Leaders and Co-Leaders will pay their leader-cost at Orientation
Leader: $25 – Includes DVD / Simulcast ticket / web access for group
materials
Spouse: $20 – Includes Simulcast ticket / web access for group materials
Co-Leader: $20 – Simulcast ticket
Student Leaders (up to age 21): $10 – Includes DVD / Simulcast ticket /
web access for group materials
Group Members will pay their participation-cost at their first small
group session. Leaders will turn in their gathered participation costs
at the second Saturday leaders’ meeting.
Group Member: $15 – Includes curriculum and participation costs.
Student Group Members – Free

Please begin to pray about how you will participate
Will you lead a
group or, would you rather participate in a group in your home or at the
church? Small Groups will meet in homes or onsite at the church so
childcare can be provided. Group registration will begin the weekend of
August 30th. Much more information will be provided at that point.
